In the second episode of the Maharani series, CM Bheema Bharti survives the fatal attack done by the opponents with political reasons behind it, caste being one of the reasons. Bheema Bharti survived the attack but severe injuries led him bedridden and unable to look after his responsibilities. Looking at the situation, RJSP central observer Ramjeevan Bohra informs Bheema that due to his ill health, which is not going to recover soon, the party has decided to elect a new CM. Bheema agrees to resign from the position of CM but with a condition: If he gets maximum votes then he will get a chance to announce his successor. Bohra agrees to the condition to let the voters decide the fate. As a result of this, a triangular fight ensues between Bheema Bharti, Naveen Kumar, and Party President Gauri Shankar Pandey to get the maximum votes. After the result came out, Naveen gets maximum MLAs votes but in a dramatic twist, Gauri Pandey decides to transfer his votes to Bheema Bharti. Finally, Bheema trumps Naveen with additional votes and Gauri asks him to announce the name of the successor.
